We are a specialised group of General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners with extensive experience in caring for residents in Perth nursing homes.
Our mission is to find you a GP with a dedicated liaison nurse to service your nursing home.
We recognise the barriers that stop GPs from taking on care in nursing homes.
With the help of experienced Nurse Practitioners coordinated by our GPs, we are able to overcome these barriers and provide good person-centered care. Additionally, we ensure timely prescription processing through our network of treating NPs.
After-hours care and palliative care are provided.
Where possible, we will find a GP in your local area that allows simple procedures like removing a skin cancer or suturing a laceration to take place in business hours in a surgery minutes away.
Through multidisciplinary meetings we can more effectively work as a team to better manage residents care and also provide upskilling for your nurses . In these meetings good pre planning may reduce ED and hospital admissions.
In time, we hope to increase the use of Telehealth, further reducing the barriers to good care.

Our Mission

Our Team
Siva Krishnan– GP with more than thirty years of experience in all facets of geriatric and general medical care with an interest in management of complex and chronic medical issues.
And where appropriate for some conditions is experienced in acupuncture and Indian ( Herbal) Medicine.
Max Bettridge– has been a registered nurse for over 19 years. He has worked in aged care for 15 years and has been a specialist aged care Nurse Practitioner for the past 8. He has particular interests in managing acute illness and palliative end of life care.
He has been a committee member of the WA Health NP Workforce initiative Strategy providing expert advice on NP aged care policy and has mentored many NP students.
Apart from his clinical work he heads The Expert GP and NP’s teaching division.
Sunny Ouyang – became a Registered Nurse in 2003, in China and subsequently qualified as a Registered Nurse in Australia in 2013.
After completing a master degree, she registered as a Nurse Practitioner 4 years ago.
Sunny is professional and passionate about providing quality care to the elderly, and works closely with her team members, and facility clinical staff to ensure residents’ medical needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.
Matt Cabot– has been a Registered Nurse since 1995. He has worked in a variety of settings including Emergency Departments and hospital wards. He has extensive experience in primary care settings having worked as a remote area nurse for almost 15 years in Australia and parts of West Africa.
Matt has worked in senior positions in the Aged Care settings for the past 9 years and has been a nurse practitioner for the last 4 years.
He believes in holistic whole person-centered care and is an advocate for the best possible care for all his patients.
Priya – is an accomplished nurse practitioner specializing in aged care. She has multiple qualifications and has a masters degree in Human Movement , Nursing and Clinical Nursing (Gerontology), and has now graduated as a Nurse Practitioner.
Originally a physiotherapist in India, she relocated to Australia in 2008, driven by her passion for healthcare excellence.
Nagen Perumal – has been an IT consultant for more than 30 years. A graduate in Applied Science from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology he is a “Result Oriented Business Technology Consultant” thus finding the right technology fit to an enterprise challenge. He is the chief solution architect for various government digitalisation projects overseas.
At The Expert GP and NP he heads our Innovative Technologies Division.
Mark Aisbett– is an IT consultant for more than 10 years that has assisted many small businesses to set up their software and hardware connections. He is a master at troubleshooting many of the IT issues that beset small businesses. He will be assisting Nagen in providing Tele Health services that connect our health practitioners to your home.

The Medical Centre
Situated on the grounds of the Juniper Complex in Bentley is our Medical Centre.
We are here to serve the independent living residents and the local Residential Facilities.
The Medical Centre is conveniently located next to Pharmacy 777 at 4-10 Hayman Rd Bentley.
Working with the Pharmacist we offer vaccinations and medication reviews.
We specialise in managing complex medical issues that come with aging but can holystically manage all aspects of general medical care including the removal of small skin cancers.

Our goal is to ensure high-quality, efficient, and continuous medical care for your residents.
